What are the Universal Screener Assessment Scaled Score Targets?

Overview

The scaled score targets are the readiness levels for each grade level throughout the year.

  • Classworks Universal Screeners are scored on a common vertical scale
  • Classworks Universal Screener assessments provide parallel forms to allow comparability of scores over time and to allow accurate measurement of growth.
  • Vertically scaling students’ scores allows the comparison of test scores across individual administrations of a test.
  • Document scores from year to year to measure student progress.

Time-of-Year Targets

Scaled Scores are expected to increase over the course of the year.

The following tables list the expected target scores for the beginning, middle, and end of the year for each grade and subject.
