How can I manage Wittly® access for my students?
Wittly is a powerful learning assistant designed to support individual students in their educational journey. As a teacher, you have the ability to control Wittly® access for each of your students individually through the Student Settings. This guide will help you understand how to manage Wittly for your students.
Manage Wittly Access for a Student
To enable or disable Wittly® for a student:
- Log in to your teacher account.
- Locate the student whose Wittly access you want to manage. Click their name which is a hyperlink.
- On the Student Detail Screen, find the "Student Settings" button at the top right.
- Locate the Wittly® by Classworks checkbox under the Skill Unit Instructional Resources.
- Switch the toggle or check/uncheck the box to enable or disable Wittly for that student.

You might consider disabling Wittly® for a student in situations such as:
- When you want the student to practice skills without AI assistance.
- If you notice the student is over-relying on Wittly instead of developing their own skills.
When you disable Wittly for a student:
- The student will not be able to access Wittly's features within the student platform.
- They will not see the Wittly icon in their list of Skill Unit Instructional Tools.
Can I set a time limit for disabling Wittly?
Wittly does not have a built-in timer for temporary disabling. When you disable Wittly for a student, it remains disabled until you manually re-enable it. Remember to re-enable Wittly when you want the student to have access again.
Best Practices for Managing Wittly
