Why do students have different counts of total responses to the custom assessments they completed?
In order to minimize student testing time, the Custom Assessment uses an algorithm to determine student mastery of an objective. If a student gets the first two questions from an Assessment Objective right or wrong, it will not give them the remaining two questions. Classworks determines that if a student missed the first 2 questions of an objective that they likely need more help. Likewise, if a student gets the first two questions correct, they have a firm grasp on that objective and can move on. If they get one right then one wrong they will receive the remaining items associated with the objective to get the complete picture of their understanding.
As a result, students will not all answer the same number of items when completing the tests you created.
