How Do I Assign Classworks Early Literacy Mini-Assignments?

Early Literacy Mini-assignments are designed to:

• Deliver targeted intensive instructional support for a specific early numeracy indicator
• Provide additional layers of support when adaptations are necessary to increase the effectiveness of the intervention
• Be assigned to individual students, groups of students, or, when appropriate, entire classes

Step-by-Step Guidance

To assign these assignments to specific students navigate to the Classes Tab

Select a class by clicking on the Class Name

In the top right corner of the screen, click “Instruction”

The Early Literacy Assignments are located under “Shared Instruction”

Place check marks in the assignment title you want to assign to students in this class

Then click “Next” at the bottom right corner of the window.

Choose who to assign this assignment to. You can select “All Students”. Click “Assign” in the bottom right corner to connect this task with all students in your class.

Choose who to assign this assignment to. You can select “Select Students” and then place check marks in the students you choose to assign this task to in your class. Click “Assign” in the bottom right corner to connect this task with these students in your class.

After you click “Assign” you will see the assignment on the Classes Tab. You can click on the plus “+” sign to expand the assignment and monitor each student’s progress.
