How do I assign Applied Mathematics?
Whether you are assigning one unit or several units of Applied Math to multiple classes, one class, or students, you will follow the steps below.
Step-by-Step Guidance
Navigate to the Classes tab, click on your class name

Then click Instruction in the top right corner.

Click "Assign Instruction" in the bottom left corner

A new window will open. Choose Classroom Instruction

Place a check next to any level(s) that you would like to assign to your class and click Next.
You assign all of the Applied Math units for a certain grade level.
You can customize which lessons are available by following the steps outlined in the Customizing Applied Math section below
Choose to assign to All Students in the class you chose or Selected Students by placing a check in the box next to your student names, and then click Assign.

Customizing Applied Math
Once you have assigned Applied Math units to a class(es) or students, they have access to all of the activities in each level you assigned. If you would like to customize which ones they have available to them, you can turn activities off or on as needed.
Navigate to the Classes tab and click your Class name, then click the instruction sub-tab on the right:

A list of the assignments you've given to this class will be seen on the screen.
Look at the first Applied Mathematics assignment in the image below. Notice the blue Customize link - click this to adjust which units or activities are accessible to students.

A new window showing all of the different activities will open. Check and uncheck the status boxes to give or remove access to each activity.

Click Save when you are done.
