Outside assessments, Classworks integrates with and how to set them up
Classworks Assessment Integration allows district administrative users to set up third-party assessment results for use in Classworks. These assessment results can be used to create individualized learning for students.
There are three different types of assessment integrations within Classworks:
- Assessment API Integration
- Assessment SFTP Integration
- Assessment Upload Integration

Step-by-Step Guidance
Log in as a district administrator, click your name in the top right, and select Manage Classworks.

Select the Utilities tab.

Scroll to the section that matches the type of integration you need—Assessment API, SFTP, or Upload Integration.
API Integration (MAP)
- Click Edit to the right of the NWEA MAP integration.

- Select your district from the list.

- Select Classworks field for user matching - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, Alternate User ID, or Email.
- Set synchronization schedule: From the drop-down box, select the time Classworks will attempt to check for new data daily.

- Turn on NWEA Integration – Check the box to enable
Classworks will now check for new assessment results daily at the time you selected.
SFTP Integration (Renaissance Star)
- Click Edit to the right of Renaissance.

- Enter your Renaissance shared assessment zip file name. Check the box to include historical data if desired.
- Click the Confirm File button. When the user clicks this button, Classworks will connect to the SFTP site for Renaissance and confirm that the file exists.
- Use the drop-down boxes to select the Renaissance and Classworks fields for user matching.
- From the drop-down box, select the time that Classworks will attempt to import data, daily.
- Turn on Star Assessments Integration – Check the box to enable and Save

Classworks will now use your settings to import data from Renaissance learning daily.
Upload Integration
i-Ready
- Follow the steps here to export your data from i-Ready.
- Click Upload to the right of i-Ready.

- Select the Classworks field to match users in the file - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, or Alternate User ID
- Select the subject of the file being uploaded - Math or Reading
- Choose your file and then click Upload.

- You will be taken to the History screen and receive a message: Data Processing. See the log for more information.
LinkIt!
- Click Upload to the right of LinkIt!.

- Select the cut score for standards mastery. Classworks recommends 80%. Students scoring 80% or above will not receive units based on the standard strand.
- Select the Classworks field to match users in the file - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, or Alternate User ID
- Choose your file and then click Upload.

- You will be taken to the History screen and receive a message: Data Processing. See the log for more information.
ACT Aspire (Interim and Summative)
- Click Upload to the right of ACT Aspire.

- Choose the ACT Aspire Assessment to import into Classworks - Interim or Summative.
- Select the Classworks field to match users in the file - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, Alternate User ID, or Email.
- Choose your file and then click Upload.

- You will be taken to the History screen and receive a message: Data Processing. See the log for more information.
NC Check-In
- Click Upload to the right of NC Check-In.

- Select the Check-in data to upload to Classworks
- Select the Classworks field to match users in the file - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, or Alternate User ID.
- Choose your file and then click Upload.

- You will be taken to the History screen and receive a message: Data Processing. See log for more information.
Texas STAAR
- Click Upload to the right of Texas STAAR.

- Select the Classworks field to match users in the file - You can match by Username, District User ID, State User ID, Alternate User ID, or Email.
- Choose your file and then click Upload.

- You will be taken to the History screen and receive a message: Data Processing. See log for more information.
History Log
The History Log (accessible from the Integrations Directory beside the name of the Assessment) will give you details about the upload/sync history, including Success Details, Start Date/Time, Complete Date/Time, and a Message Log for each.
