Student View: My Learning Path

We use each student’s data from their Academic Screeners by Classworks or other partner assessments to generate instruction tailored to their instructional or readiness level.  This is called an Individualized Learning Path (ILP). Students should work consistently on their ILPs to make expected gains over the course of a school year.

Landing Page

ILPs are available in reading and mathematics.

Students should click the content area they plan to work on after logging into Classworks.

From the content area, students click View on My Learning Path

Monthly Scores

After clicking View, students see a screen with their monthly scores and their Learning Paths

Students will see one or two Learning Paths

Click the Play Button to open the Learning Path

My Learning Path

A screen opens that shows the assignments on the student's learning path

  • The assignments are organized along a progression that builds in complexity as the student continues to work
  • Assignments that the student has already completed are shown with a red or green dot
    • Red dot indicates that the student completed the assignment with a score less than 80%
    • Green dot indicates that the student completed the assignment with a score equal to or greater than 80%
    • A blinking star indicates the assignment the student should complete next
    • A lock indicates that the assignment is not available to complete yet
  • Notice the arrows at the top and bottom of the screen. The student can click these to scroll back through assignments they've completed, or preview the assignments they'll complete later in their learning path
