How do I use the information on the Assessment & Growth Insights?

To identify how many students have completed a Classworks Assessment, their placement levels, and domain proficiency by school, grade level, and demographics.


As an administrator, this dashboard has automatically been added to your Insights page.
These reports are not available at the teacher level.

Student performance on the Universal Screener is used to generate Learning Paths and weekly Progress Monitoring probes at the student's readiness/instructional level. 

School-based and district administrators monitor and recognize student assessment performance including:


This dashboard updates every 4 hours

Universal Screener Completion

  1. Identify the number of students at a specific school or across multiple schools who have completed a Universal Screener in each testing window
  2. Identify screener completion by grade-level and demographic groups
  3. View average scale score earned by students in each grade level during a testing window


Comparison Across Multiple Testing Windows

  1. Compare overall and subgroup performance during the school year
  2. Identify trends among grade level or subgroup performance over time to allocate resources efficiently
  3. Measure progress made toward achievement goals for students with IEPs, English Language Learners and other identified subgroups.

Performance by MTSS Tier of Support

  1. Determine the number of students whose screener performance places them in each suggested tier of support
  2. Allocate resources to efficiently meet student needs
  3. Adjust instructional groups based on performance

Individual Student Performance

  1. Clicking on a grade level or demographic group updates the student list appearing at the bottom of the screen
  2. A list appears at the bottom of the screen showing each student overall and domain specific scale score

Domain Proficiency

  1. View the number of students who scored at or above the time of year target in each testing window (met proficiency)
  2. Recognize grade levels making the greatest gains between windows
  3. Allocating resources efficiently to help students meet achievement goals
Under certain demographics, you may see True or False. True represents those students that have been flagged as that demographic in Classworks. False equals those students who are not flagged as matching that particular demographic.
