Share and Deploy the Classworks URL

Classworks can be accessed from any supported web browser by typing in a simple web address, but some districts might choose to add shortcuts or favorites to allow for easier access to Classworks.

There are three different options:

  • Create shortcuts in application portals

  • Create shortcuts on the desktop

  • Create a hyperlink on a web page

Create a shortcut in staff and student portals

If your district or school utilizes an application portal such as ClassLink or Clever, Classworks can be added as an Application or External Link. Classworks provides an icon bundle zip containing two different size versions of the Classworks logo in PNG format. These can be used when creating the Classworks shortcuts.
Download the icon bundle at the bottom of this article.

Create a shortcut on the desktop

Chromebooks, Apple OSX, and Microsoft Windows all have different methods for creating shortcuts. Once created, the Classworks logo and URL will automatically appear on the user's homepage for easy access.

Sites that maintain or have access to a web server like the district or site main web address can create a Classworks launch page. This page could have additional information about Classworks like a schedule, Classworks incentive programs, and the Classworks shortcuts.
