How do I assign Science Activities?

Overview

All content is Classworks proprietary content, developed based on a scope and sequence created from national and state standards and assessments. Science topics are consistent from grade to grade, though the skill level and complexity increases. This allows the assignment of content at the appropriate level without concern that a student is missing key concepts.

You can assign Science content to a class, a student, or even assign to multiple classes at one time.

Assigning Science Content to a class or individual student(s)

Whether you are assigning one unit or several units of Science to a class or students, you will follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to the Classes tab and click on your class name, then click the instruction sub-tab.

2.  At the bottom, click the Assign Instruction button.

3. Across the top of the Assign Instruction pop-up, select Classroom Instruction.

4. Place a check next to any Science Content that you would like to assign to your class then click Next.

Even though you are selecting all of the Science Activities right now, you will be able to pick and choose which lessons the students receive after. See the article for Customizing Science Activities here.
