How Do I Assign Classworks Early Numeracy Mini-Assignments

Introduction

Early Numeracy Mini-assignments are designed to:
  1. Deliver targeted intensive instructional support for a specific early numeracy indicator 
  2. Provide additional layers of support when adaptations are necessary to increase the effectiveness of the intervention
  3. Be assigned to individual students, groups of students, or when appropriate, entire classes

Assigning Early Numeracy Indicator Mini-assignments

  1. To assign these assignments to specific students navigate to the Classes Tab

  1. Select a class by clicking on the Class Name

  1. In the top right corner of the screen click “Instruction”

  1. The Early Numeracy Assignments are located under “Shared Instruction”

  1. To Assign to ALL students in the class select "All Students" then click "Assign" in the bottom right corner of the window

  1. To Assign to SELECT students select "Selected Students" and place check marks next to each student you wish to assign this Mini Assignment in this class. Then click "Assign" in the bottom right corner of the window

  1. Then click “Next” at the bottom right corner of the window.
  2. After you click “Assign” you will see the assignment on the Classes Tab. You can click on the plus “+” sign to expand the assignment and monitor each student’s progress. 

  1. Assigned = Students selected to receive this assignment who have not completed it yet
  2. Completed = Students who received the assignment and have completed it
  3. Skipped = Students not selected to receive the assignment
