What to Look For
As you read the data, notice the following:
View the total number of items on the test compared to the number of items the student answered correctly. How did the student perform overall on the assessment? How does this compare to his or her peers?
View how the student answered individual questions to determine which items the student answered correctly vs. incorrectly. Each item number is listed as a separate column heading. District-created items will be denoted with a 'D' in front of the item number.
For District Created Items: If the student answered correctly, the word “correct” will display. If the student answered incorrectly, the answer the student selected will be listed. i.e. If distractor 2 was selected by the student, then D2 will be displayed on the spreadsheet for that test item.
For Classworks Created Items: If the student answered correctly, the word “correct” will display. If the student answered incorrectly, the word “incorrect” will display.
Note: Only users that are members of the Creator and/or Approver permission groups will have access to view the distractor numbers and the corresponding answer choice via the main Editor Tab.
