When performing management tasks in Classworks, the system seems slow or unresponsive when loading in Internet Explorer. I sometimes receive the message:
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?
What causes this issue?
Classworks is built using the latest HTML specification to provide a faster and more reliable experience. Older browsers like Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, or 9 have trouble running the code needed to render these pages properly.
How do I fix the issue?
Classwork Technical Support recommends one of two options to our Internet Explorer customers experiencing this issue:
Upgrade to latest version of Internet Explorer
Upgrade to a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox
